The mission of SESO is to empower society by providing opportunities for education, empowerment and learning to youth and adults.
SESO operates throughout Afghanistan with offices in Kabul, Herat, Mazar-e-Sharif, Kandahar and Jalalabad. Our presence in these five major cities enable us to reach directly to over 50 percent of the population. In addition, we offer our services virtually through the Internet to our audiences in many parts of Afghanistan.
SESO intends to expand its activities to other parts of the country depending on the nature and scale of funding and resources available to the organization.
SESO is led by highly qualified and committed professionals with extensive experience of working in areas of education, capacity building, women empowerment, media, countering extremism and others, in Afghanistan and other parts of the world.
SESO has highly qualified and diverse board of directors with established reputation and achievements in a variety of areas in Afghanistan and other parts of the world.
Our Previous Work
SESO has successfully completed numerous projects throughout Afghanistan working with various stakeholders including U.S. Department of State, INL, USAID, U.S. Foundations, Ministries, governor’s offices, universities, academics, youths and community leaders.
